Fading's Been Done

I've only almost tried to slit my wrists too many times to score
Missing my cellar door
That which made life roar
Stop to hear me out
We all grow from too short, to too long to shout
Whether by a side or alone and bored

Like all before we'll all be lost and tried until we've died

Save my best times to let me continue
Save my last life 1-upped by another

Profess your talents under duress
Confess descent as you plummet

We've all sighed until neigh
Gripped too tight and let go
Burnt up and unrecognized

Life hides our minds behind skin
Our pain deep within restraining the too far
Keeping us divided by our path and self we confide in

Don't give up, I'll throw up
I'm already too full to not be jaded
Too faded to not be rated
Losing out-right to wrong

Fates filled with decisions to song
Printed and recorded, we've all been noted
To act out vast haunts and create disease
Commit grand beauty, birthed into endless murders and hurdles
Eventually curdled by canned possibilities' hopes
Candles burning too faintly for hurt
'Cause flames have roared and roar before feeling hits dirt
Letting in, 'till we lock out

Have no doubt it's all real from your deal to mine
Patience kills until it reveals, but we'll all shine into night's sky in our time
Love all from stars, brothers to sisters, lands
Because unless you try, understand, joy always slips hands
